Combating COVID-19 with Commitment and Efforts

The rapid test kits for coronavirus is a one-step test for the novel Coronavirus, IgM/IgG antibody detection. It is proposed for the qualitative detection of 2019-novel Coronavirus IgM and IgG antibody in serum, plasma, fingertip blood, or whole blood samples of patients having pneumonitis or suspected cases.

Up to this date, there is no vaccine available in the market for COVID-19, but doctors are already carrying out the research. So, it has now turned out to be a worldwide emergency and has become vital to stop its spread. It is also observed that it consists of a low to moderate mortality rate. Something unique that can be ever done to control this outbreak is the rigid testing of the infection, and the corona test kits can handle rest.

At Jade, we avail rapid test kits for coronavirus with everything needed to collect the sample successfully. We have successfully supplied around 20,000 kits to the frontline workers and the patients who are in need.

The test kit can be requisitioned online by the consumers experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Samples can be collected at labs and at home, too, preventing further exposure to themselves and the public.

How to use the corona test kit?

1.    Initially, you need to cut out the test cassette from the sealed foil pouch and use it asap without any delay on tomorrow or for future use.

2.    Make sure you lay the device over the flat surface and add a specimen. Here, look below for every specimen type:

a.    For Serum or Plasma Specimen:

With the five μL plastic dropper packed with it, draw the serum/plasma specimen to broaden the specimen line, as shown in the diagram below. Handle the dropper vertically and transfer the drawn serum/plasma specimen into the sample well. Now, add two drops instantly (about 80 μL) of the sample buffer to the buffer well and ensure that the buffer vial tip won't get touched with the sample. Make sure you avoid air bubbles.

b.     For whole-body specimen:

For the whole body specimen, try to handle the five μL plastic dropper vertically and transmit a drop of whole blood (about ten μL) to the test device's sample well (S). Now, add two drops instantly (i.e., about 80 μL) of the sample buffer to the buffer well and ensure that the buffer vial tip won't be touching with the sample. Make sure you avoid the air bubbles.

3.    Wait for the control line (C) to get blink from blue to a red color. If, after 2 minutes, the sample has not moved across the test window or if blood is still present in the sample well (S), Do add a single additional drop of sample buffer to the buffer well (B) if the sample has not moved across the test window after 2 minutes or if blood is still present in the sample well.

4.    The results can be read easily within 10 minutes. And yes, don't try to interpret the results after some time.

It's time to join hands together to combat this deadly virus.
